Two games, one confusing word

I keep seeing search suggestions that mix these titles. They share the word Tribes, and both talk about loadouts and team fights. That is where the overlap ends. This page is the split. If you want the Roblox experience, the listing is place 72169370437173. If you want the Windows game, the publisher site is tribes3rivals.com.

I am not hosting Prophecy’s key art. The stills on this page are official Roblox thumbnails of Tribes 3v3 only.

Side by side, from sources I read

Tribes 3v3: Roblox experience by Snick Co. (owner SnickTrix), created 28 September 2026, free, no separate install, 3v3 with a 12-point loadout, servers capped at 50. Genre on the API is Deathmatch Shooter. At 04:18 UTC on 18 October 2026 the API showed 22,003 playing and 33,994,550 visits.

TRIBES 3: Rivals: developed and published by Prophecy Games, designer Erez Goren, Unreal Engine 5, Microsoft Windows only, multiplayer FPS. Wikipedia records a Steam Early Access date of 12 March 2024, notes that it never reached 1,000 concurrent players, and cites reporting that Prophecy said in June 2024 it no longer had enough success to support the studio. I am repeating Wikipedia’s summary, not a live SteamDB count.

  • Studio: Snick Co. versus Prophecy Games.
  • Platform: Roblox client versus Windows / Steam Early Access.
  • Price: free on Roblox, with an empty game-pass list on 18 October, versus a paid Steam title.
  • Year: created 2026 versus Early Access 2024.

Shared words that cause the mix-up

Both games use “loadout.” Only the Roblox experience has the 12-point budget described on the 12-point guide. “3v3” is in the Roblox title. Rivals is not a 3v3 Roblox mode. Ranked, Glory, and tribes are vocabulary from the Roblox side’s community write-ups, not from Prophecy’s site.

If a download page claims to be both, it is neither. The Roblox join path is How to play. Rivals installs from its own publisher or store page, which I am not mirroring.

Questions

Is Tribes 3v3 the Roblox version of TRIBES 3: Rivals?

No. Different studio, different platform, different year. Snick Co. on Roblox versus Prophecy Games on Windows.
